Privacy at SalesPlan

What we collect and why

Registration includes your name and email, plus company and phone if you provide them. We use this information to identify your account, send verification codes, manage report credit, provide support and send earned-reward notifications.

We also keep account and transaction records, such as balances, report charges, refunds, rewards and checkout references. Stripe handles card entry and payment processing; our form does not collect card numbers or security codes.

Searches, research and reports

When you use SalesPlan, we process search terms, selected LinkedIn profile URLs, your offering, any optional context or pasted communications you supply, and publicly available professional information needed to prepare your report. Some of this information concerns the seller or buyer rather than the person ordering the report.

The current service retains search receipts, profile research, report requests and report content to support downloads, recovery, billing and reuse of saved research. Successful name-search results can be reused for 24 hours; that cache period is not a promise that every search record is deleted after 24 hours.

Reports are not currently download-only. Downloading a PDF does not delete the report or research held by SalesPlan. You control where you keep your downloaded copy and who you share it with.

Service providers

We use service providers to host the service, deliver email, process payments, find public professional information and generate report content. Information needed for those tasks is processed by those providers. Their handling and retention are subject to their own service terms and policies.

We do not sell your email address to mailing lists. Using a provider to deliver your verification email or process your requested report is different from selling your contact information.

Cookies, browser storage and service records

Cookies and browser storage help maintain verification, remember profile selections and recover the same report or checkout after an interruption. Clearing them can require verification again or affect recovery in that browser. Stripe may also use its own browser technologies during payment processing.

The service keeps operational and security records, including request references, access logs and registration records. Registration records may be reviewed to identify possible repeated trial registrations. The current duplicate-trial monitor sends advisory notices to SalesPlan’s operator; it does not automatically block accounts.

Website analytics

The production website uses Google Analytics to measure page visits, completed registrations and confirmed purchases. Analytics uses browser cookies and campaign attribution. We do not include registration contact details, verification codes, profile searches, offerings or report contents in our analytics events. Purchase events include an opaque transaction reference, amount and currency. Development and sandbox payments are excluded from production analytics.

Retention and requests

The service currently has no automatic deletion schedule for all report and research records. Verification codes and authorizations expire, but expiration does not mean every related record is immediately deleted.

To ask what information we hold, request a correction or request deletion, email salesplan@recapito.io. We’ll review the request, verify account ownership where needed and explain any account, transaction or operational records that need to be retained. This is a contact process, not an automatic deletion feature.

Please avoid entering sensitive personal information or confidential details that are unnecessary for your sales brief. Keep downloaded reports private and consider the people whose professional information appears in them.
